ββThe Best Thing We Ate βοΈ
Community Coffee
The best thing we ate this week was Community Coffee's sausage & egg muffin. Writing about this makes me crave one from Maccas now..
Paige opted for their pork kransky hot dog. Check out our recent post for more on Community Coffee.
What We Ate π΄
Blacklist Coffee Roasters (Subiaco)
After satisfying our stomach at Community Coffee, we went to Blacklist Coffee Roasters for caffeine. Our friends opted for a coffee tasting - sampling a number of pour over style coffees. I'm personally not a coffee drinker myself, but can see myself getting into the rabbit hole that pourover coffee is.
I loved the dark and moody vibes of the place, which made for fun photography.
Delicioso Gelato
Ok. We lie. We didn't blog our Friday night dinner, which was at was at 2 Fat Indians (Carousel). It was delicious as usual (our go to is their palak paneer and some sort of meat curry). For dessert, we revisited Delicioso Gelato. The flavours of the night were Milo, Old Town Coffee and Thai milk tea.
For more on Delicioso Gelato, check out our article.
Trang's Cafe
Following Friday night's rich and flavourful feast at 2 Fat Indians, we opted for something clean for Saturday lunch. Trang's pho broth was exactly this. Clean and clear broth. The type you can drink all of. It allowed all the ingredients and garnish to speak for themselves.
K-Town
For a friends "leaving dinner" we went to K-Town. It's been a while since we've been there. K-Town offer a la carte and an all you can eat set menus. We opted for the K-town set A for $39.5 per person. The set included all you can eat meat (refills on demand), a choice of sides and a soup of choice.
You can find their menu here (from Quandoo).
Forklore
I (Eddy) dropped in for lunch with a friend. Forklore also have a range of Asian inspired pastries. For me, the matcha yuzu and galbi jim danish were more enjoyable than the hot food.
