ββThe Best Thing We Ate βοΈ
Peasants Paradice
It was our first time dining at Peasants Paradice. And definitely not the last. Our favourite here was the braised oxtail curry puffs π€©. Shout-out to Dwight, who was our server of the night and had awesome energy and was a vibe! We'll be definitely back to try more of their menu items.
What We Ate π΄
Varsity Morley
We were invited to Varsity Morley last week to check out their new backyard area! Thanks for KINN & Co for having us. Be sure to check out our post later this week.
Kung Fu Kitchen (Morley)
We were a little hungry after the Varsity event, so we popped into Kung Fu Kitchen, located next door. The favourite was the signature fried fish π.
I Love Crepes & More
We'll be honest here. We were a little skeptical of the 4.8/5 star reviews on Google Maps for I Love Crepes & More. The crepe store replaced favourite of ours, Verde Brio, some time ago. They've also opened a second branch in Vic Park, where Chatto once was. Curious about it, we investigated.
We ordered the bueno, Nutella & creme crepe. We weren't disappointed. The serving size is enough for two. Our only complaint is the use of disposable paper plates. Following the words of the 38th Governor of California, "I'll be back".
Mellow Coffee
Our appetite was whet after having some beef slider burgers at Varisty. We're big fans of ebi katsu and saw that Mellow Coffee had their own interpretation of a "prawn burger".
Both burgers were unique and *chefs kiss*. Look at the cheddar!
It's not every day where you get potato rosti in your burger too. This soaked up all the delicious beef juices and provided a nice airy texture as you bite into the burger.
We covered Mellow Coffee a while back. It was actually our first article on the website! You can read it below.
Hakata Gensuke
Hakata Gensuke in Vic Park had their 5th birthday on the Sunday. Can't believe it's been 5 years already! To celebrate, they offered 50% off. We ordered around $40 of food π between the two of us. It's been a while since we've posted about Hakata Gensuke, so be sure to check out our post and article later this week.
Jinny&Co
For a quick lunch yesterday, we popped back into our favourite - Jinny&Co. Thank you to Linda for sending out the drinks and mango bingsu. Thanks for the μλΉμ€ (service)!
