WEEKLY DIGEST | SEP 27
A "quiet" week of eating.
We checked out five places last week. It was our first time visiting I Love Crepes (Vic Park) and Sea Fresh Innaloo.
La Madonna Nera
Chich
I Love Crepes
Sea Fresh Innaloo
Tea Garden
We also attended fellow foodie friend, @leenthefoodie's beautiful baby shower over the weekend (it was full of food and did not disappoint). Check out Leen's post!
In case you missed it ✨
Our article on Omakase Haku is one of our longest yet. Be sure to give it some love ❤️.

The Best Thing We Ate ⭐️
Seafresh Innaloo
Chich would be second place (we still love your food!), but when it comes to the eat of the week. Japanese food is always a winner. We had a small dinner party with some friends on Sunday night. Sashimi was from Seafresh in Innaloo (we usually go to Angelo's Seafood but they close on Sundays). We ordered around $86 worth which fed four of us.
Our friend also made agedashi tofu with corn flour!
A side of edamame always goes down well too.
What We Ate 🍴
La Madonna Nera (Mount Hawthorn)
We grabbed dinner with a couple foodie friends last week. We absolutely loved our first visit at La Madonna Nera, but our visit last week fell short as we found flavours to run a little subtle for our liking. Having said that - our favourite was the Skull Island prawns which showcased the flavour of the prawns and was bisque-y!
Chich (Osbourne Park)
One of the more memorable meals of this year was at Chich a couple months back. It was our first time trying Macedonian food and we loved it. I popped in with a friend for dinner and had their beef parmi while my friend grabbed one of their burgers.
Check out our article for more on Chich. They'll be changing up their menu soon with more Macedonian dishes, so keep your eyes peeled.
I Love Crepes (Vic Park)
Ok ok ok. I was a littleee hungry after Chich still on Friday 😅. Luckily, crepe places also have non-desserty options. The crepe was a tad on the dry side, but hit the spot and curbed my hunger.
Tea Garden (Canning Vale)
Our trusty local fed our stomach on the King's Birthday public holiday. Note I didn't note down the price (dug up the price from our last visit in July), but I'd expect it to have gone up a little. Paige normally goes for Tea Garden's Canto style crispy noodle.
I did a bit of a foodie faux pas and ordered the same! Needless to say - I enjoyed the different textures of the dish as you eat it (going from crispy noodles to noodles being slightly saturated with the gravy sauce).
