β€Œβ€ŒThe Best Thing We Ate ⭐️

The Corner Dairy (Doubleview)

We heard lots of good things about The Corner Dairy from a couple fellow foodie friends. Boy oh boy it didn't disappoint. One of our favourites of the meal was their duck liver parfait. Their motto is "food & drinks worth travelling for" - 100% rightly so.

What We Ate 🍴

Indigo Oscar (Cottesloe)

I made it back to Indigo Oscar for dinner with an old colleague. It was my third visit and the food was still amazing!

Close up of arepas with crab meat
Shark Bay crab arepa, Aji Verde, cucumber, lime GF, NF, DF - $9ea
Roast Mount Barker chicken, braised tomato, capsicum, green olive GF, DF, NF - $38

Big Loaf Bakery (O'Connor)

Big Loaf "Cinny scroll" $6

For a quick catch-up with a friend - I popped into Big Loaf - the wholesale bakery outlet from the team behind Little Loaf and North Street Store. Be sure to try their cinnamon scrolls if you haven't already. I haven't been back to Big Loaf for at least a year or two, so I was pleasantly surprised to see a seating area for customers to enjoy the freshly baked pastries (there were also lots of cute doggos!).

Phoever (Canning Vale)

Top down shot of pho
$16.95 Pho tai bo vien - rare beef & meatballs hofan

Potentially unpopular opinion - if I had to toss up between ramen or pho and eat one of them for the rest of my life, I would pick pho. Phoever in Canning Vale is open from morning (10 am) to close (8:30 pm), so it's a great all day dining option.

Bull Creek Hawker (Bull Creek)

Top down shot of chicken cut into pieces with soy sauce and cucumber
Hainan chicken rice (breast meat)

And lastly - for an easy meal with a friend, we popped into Bull Creek Hawker. Can't go wrong with chicken rice and some vegetables.
