The Best Thing We Ate ⭐️
Momo Dessert Cafe
A local of ours, 2020 Street Eats, closed its doors earlier this year. Momo Dessert Cafe has now taken over since. As the name implies, Momo Dessert Cafe offers a range of desserts - mostly of the cake variety and a number of bingsu. During the day, they offer a lunch menu with yoshoku udon and sando. Hearing yoshoku udon got us very excited. Excited to the point, we actually.. Went two days in a row 😅.
Which brings us to the best thing we ate this week - their "The ROE".

What We Ate 🍴
Toffee Cafe
We finally visited Toffee Cafe - a cute and intimate German cafe in Equus Arcade. The place has been around for nearly 7 years and is run by a lovely husband and wife couple - Jochen and Maria-Luise. Jochen has over 60+ years in hospitality and has previously worked as a butcher and pastry chef.
We're looking forward to returning to try other things on their menu!
DJ's Willagee Lunch Bar
When it comes to banh mi, my go to is typically banh mi with Vietnamese cold cuts. DJ's in Willagee offers one with both the cold cuts and a delicious, crispy roast pork, so it was hard not to get this one instead!
Marubang BBQ
A friend of ours was in town, so we went to Marubang for KBBQ to catch-up. It still ranks as our favourite place that has consistently delicious KBBQ.

Rossonero Trattoria
Rossonero is no longer just a pizzeria. It's now Rossonero Trattoria and their menu has grown a little bit. Aside from ordering their delicious pizza, we got a slice of their new lasagne as well.
