WEEKLY DIGEST 058 | 31 MAR 2023
See you again, Kukan!

Paige and I spent last week recovering from a pretty gnarly flu, which pretty much left us as home most of the week. I was pretty cooked, only now I realise I forgot to send out last week's newsletter too!
So without any further ado.. Last week's edition:

Naturally, we didn't dine out much last week.

ββThe Best Thing We Ate βοΈ
Kukan Izakaya
Our friends at Kukan Izakaya are closing this coming Sunday. We managed to squeeze in one final visit to enjoy some of our favourites. Don't fret - as they'll be reopening as a different concept, same location, in the not too distant future.

One of our favourites here, is the miso creme brulee. A must order for dessert!

What We Ate π΄
Pizza Mates

Pizza Mates is worth travelling for. So much so, it was our second time driving around 30 minutes, just for pizza. We tried the egg pasta for the first time. It was deliciously well seasoned, and just as good as the pizza.
Pantano Bar

Over the weekend, we dined at Pantano Bar - a Venezuelan restaurant and bar. We originally discovered the place while waiting for our banh mi when at DJ's in Willagee.
Check out our post above for more info.
