Pelican Croissanterie
We've attempted to secure all sorts of pastries and baked goods from Pelican Croissanterie a number of times, but have never been able to get there early enough until last weekend. Well, kind of. Thanks to our friend Andria for dropping by with a number of Pelican's goods for us! Andria is a gourmand and you can follow her food adventures here.
The folks behind Pelican Croissanterie previously headed up Harvest Boulangerie in Scarborough, before selling and opening u Pelican Croissanterie in Willagee.
We found the buttery, flaky pastry to be the standout.
This "tofu fa" like purin was also delicious. We'll be summarising our thoughts on Pelican Croissanterie sometime next week, so stay tuned.

Momo Dessert Cafe
Momo Dessert Cafe recently launched a dinner menu (previously they only offered desserts). The favourite during our visit was their bara chirashi and menchi katsu (ground meat / mince meat katsu) curry.

Qin's Lanzhou Beef Noodle
During our second visit to Qin's Lanzhou Beef Noodle, we tried a number of their sides. The wait was still around 30 minutes and the food came out within 5 minutes of ordering.
This time, I experimented with thick noodles which were a little more enjoyable than the widest thickness noodle I got last time (they got a little doughy afterwards). The mantou were a great sweet, dessert like snack. I'd probably be hesitant to order the cucumber again as it wasn't the freshest (contrasting this against the crispy, fresh, mori miso cucumber we had at Jigoro).
Pietro Gelateria
Pietro Gelateria's latest flavour range captures the essence of iconic Filipino desserts. My favourite was the champorado - a dark chocolate gelato with rice pieces throughout. Texturally, Paige wasn't a fan at all, but I vibed with it (gave purple rice like texture to the gelato).

Rossonero Pizzeria
It's been a minute since we've visited Rossonero Pizzeria out in Bayswater. Their "The King" (aptly) ranks as one of our all time favourite pizzas.

The last stop of our Sunday night was Mimochi. This time we tried the dark chocolate macadamia.
