We returned to UMA Restaurant last week. If you've been following us from the very, very, start, you'll know UMA Restaurant was one of the first places we ever blogged about over on Instagram. It was even back in the days when I used to shoot APSC (Sony a6300).
We also went back to Sugar & Nice.

The Best Thing We Ate ⭐️
Sugar & Nice
It's been waay too long since we've returned to Sugar & Nice. Their "pretty good" cinny scrolls are our favourite when it comes to cinny scrolls in Perth. Winning best thing we ate, is their croissant pie. The pastry itself was tart, sweet and well balanced. We really need to drop into Sugar & Nice more!
I recently bought a new zoom lens that has some macro capability and was pretty happy with the results I got with it, while shooting this. For any camera nerds reading, I picked up a Sony 70-200mm f4 G macro. The 70-200mm focal length has been a focal length I've never really shot with and have wanted to explore since December 2018 (our last major overseas holiday to Japan).
Looking forward to shooting more with the lens!

Uma Perth
The third place to ever feature on Pekopeko (we're on 577 as of this newsletter) was UMA Restaurant. UMA Restaurant serve up Peruvian food with lots of fun stuff on their menu. Being a Peruvian restaurant, we had to order tiradito.
Thanh Dat
Rainy Saturday arvo pho. Thanh Dat's beef short rib pho continues to fill our bellies, very well.
Edward & Idas
Edward & Idas is a new bar from the Foxtrot Unicorn Crew. The venue spans two floors and takes over the space which Hongkies once occupied (Northbridge). Stay tuned for our thoughts.
