WEEKLY DIGEST 088 | 25 NOV 2023
Get yourself a friend that can BBQ π₯.
Hope everyone's been staying cool given the heatwave π₯΅. Photos this week come shot entirely off my new camera - a Ricoh GR IIIx. For the photographers out there, the GR IIIx is basically a pocketable Fujifilm x100v that is also equally as sold out (ok, maybe a little easier to get than the Fuji, but you get what I'm on about).
This week we have:
Dens BBQ*
Goods Bakery
Hifumiya
Tea Garden
*Honourary award
New vlog πΉ
Last week we also dropped our latest vlog. Be sure to subscribe and like if you haven't already!

ββThe Best Thing We Ate βοΈ
Dens BBQ
An honorary "best thing we ate" this week goes to our friend, Denis' over at @densbbq. We were treated to a protein and collagen-filled three course BBQ meal last Friday. If you haven't gotten into BBQ / smoking meats, lawn care or golf, are you even approaching your 30s? π π₯²
As one can imagine, three courses of meat satiates you quite well. We were pretty meat-ed out by the end!
Goods Bakery
The official best thing we ate this week goes to.. Goods Bakery.
We've been a little obsessed with cruller doughnuts since having them for the first time at Melbourne's Shortstop Donuts, a couple years back. These round bois feature a crisp icing interior and saturated, flavourful interior.
What We Ate π΄
Hifumiya
Following the uh.. meat filled dinner last Friday night, we were something on the lighter side for our next meal. Hifumiya's pork kimchi bukkake udon not only met our needs but also was a great hot weather dish
Hifumiya's cold pork kimchi bukkake udon make for a great hot weather dish. It's also been something we've been craving for sometime. It might be time to revisit Marubang for their mul-naengmyeon too π€©..
For more on Hifumiya, check out our article.
Tea Garden
Ending a week of eating we have Tea Garden - the place we hit up when we can't be bothered travelling far for food.
In an effort to not order the same thing twice in a row, I got their cheese baked rice with lamb rendang. It's almost like cha chaan teng food meets Malaysian food. The cheese pairs excellently.
