โญ๏ธ The Best Thing We Ate

Fresco Gelato

We visited Fresco Gelato, a new gelateria over the weekend. Fresco Gelato is owned by a lovely Italian-Korean couple.

If visiting, we suggest trying the Croccantino. It was our first time trying a Croccantino with gelato, and it won't be our last ๐Ÿคฉ.

๐Ÿฅ– Croccantino $9 - topped with your choice of gelato (pictured: tiramisu, milk cream and rockmelon gelato)
๐Ÿ“ Strawberry Macaron $4.5
๐Ÿ“ 375 Hay St, Subiaco

๐Ÿด What We Ate

Uncle Eddie

Uncle Eddie is a late night Malaysian pop-up that operates out of Anything La from Monday to Wednesday. The pop-up serves up a number of Malaysian favourites.

Our favourite was the Mee Goreng which comes with a thinner style of egg noodles compared to the thicker variety commonly encounter. Be sure to add a duck egg too!

๐Ÿฅš Mee Goreng $16.4 - yellow noodle, prawn, bean sprouts, chives & duck egg (extra +$2.5)
๐Ÿ”ฅ Char Koay Teow $13.9 - flat rice noodle, prawn, bean sprouts, chives & egg
๐Ÿ‡ฒ๐Ÿ‡พ Pengang White Curry Noodle Soup $14.9 - yellow noodle & rice noodle, prawn, fish balls, tofu, bean sprouts & boiled egg
๐Ÿ“Unit 5 & 6/910 Albany Hwy, East Victoria Park WA (where Dโ€™Big Mama used to be)

Cosy Del's

We visited for date night and loved the vibes and food of this suburban wine bar.

๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡น Burrata $18 - salted beetroot velute, pickles & crostini
๐Ÿ™ Octopus spiedino $16 - fennel, tomato & lardo
๐Ÿ Tagliolini al nero $29 - burro acido, crab, chilli & bottarga
๐Ÿฅฉ Pappardelle $26 - brisket, pepper berry & percorino
๐Ÿ“ 13 Lathlain Pl, Lathlain WA 6100

Furaibo

Furaibo serves up a wide range of modern Japanese dishes. Their lunch teishoku (Japanese set meal) are great value and is what we usually order when dining for lunch. Each teishoku comes with a wide spread of food (rice, salad, sides, miso soup and dessert).

Tebasaki Wings (16pc) Teishoku $34
Premium Sirloin Kurobuta Katsu 160g Teishoku $32
Teriyaki Scotch Fillet Teishoku $35 - 250g scotch fillet grilled on Binchotan charcoal
๐Ÿ“300 Murray St, Perth

Run Amuk

Run Amuk celebrated their 10th birthday last Friday ๐ŸŽ‰. Congrats to Emily and Jody! I (Eddy) visited with some friends on Sunday and was able to snag a $1 birthday hotdog.

๐Ÿค˜ The Punk $14 - premium bratwurst, bacon, caramelised onions, cheddar, tomato sauce, smokey bbq sauce and american mustard
