WEEKLY DIGEST | MAR 15
We revisit some favourites - one of our fave wine bars and one of our fave Japanese restaurants.
Weekly Digest is our weekly newsletter where we revisit what we ate over the past week.
Last Friday, we published our first restaurant post on our website. We'll be writing more of these as we go along. You'll be able to find restaurant posts in the newest section of our site - the Pekopeko Food Index. Right now the Pekopeko Food Index is in its baby / minimum viable product v 0.1 stage, but over time it will be our A to Z to Perth's food scene.
Quick site update
- I (Eddy) spent way too long getting anchor links to work (hyperlinks that link to another part on the same page. But at least - you can click on any of the links below and it'll take you to the relevant heading 🥳
- Eagle-eyed readers will also notice the slight website revamp too. Editions of Weekly Digest and Ate It & Rate It will automatically be added to the "Newsletter" and "Monthly Guides" headings respectively.
This week we have:
Mummucc
Ramen Keisuke Tonkotsu King
Kukan Izakaya
Fluffy Lamb
Pietro Gelateria
Oasis Cafe
Eddy & Paige
⭐️ The Best Thing We Ate
Mummucc
The best thing(s) we ate this week were Mummucc's shark bay scallops and their Rangers Valley Angus sirloin beef.
Beautiful silhouette of the original Porsche 911.
🍴 What We Ate
Ramen Keisuke Tonkotsu King
We had Ramen Keisuke's (Melbourne Hotel) rich tonkotsu ramen a quick dinner.

We paid our friends at Kukan Izakaya a visit. Those who enjoy Nobu / Japanese fusion, will enjoy Kukan Izakaya.
A beautiful sunset.
