WEEKLY DIGEST | APR 12
We curb our pizza cravings by visiting our favourite pizza place in Perth.
Weekly Digest is our weekly newsletter where we revisit what we ate over the past week.
We visited two of our favourites this week. The first is Rossonero, our favourite pizza place in Perth. Our second favourite is Delicioso Gelato. There are so many great gelateria in Perth and what keeps us coming back to Delicioso Gelato are their Asian flavoured gelato.
This week we have:
Rossonero
Delicioso Gelato
Cicerello's Fremantle
BARK Subiaco
Peoples Inn Dumpling House
Belmont Oriental Supermarket
Website Updates ✨
Fresh from the oven (sorry, pun intended here 😉) is the article on Rossonero Pizzeria.
We posted two new articles to the site last week - JBento and Kou Sushi. You can check out our Food Index for all our articles to date.
If you have any new fantastic food finds, we'd love you to let us know via DM or email. If you have different opinions to us on food, that's fine - let us know too! We love to chat all things food.

The Best Thing We Ate ⭐️
Rossonero
Rossonero in Maylands is our favourite pizza place in Perth. The best thing we had all week was their cream base pizza "The King". It's an updated take on Paige's all time favourite Rossonero Pizza, Dr McDreamy (speck, sliced potato, rosemary, mozzarella, pepper on a cream base).
What We Ate 🍴
Delicioso Gelato
Following pizza at Rossonero, we finished our night by visiting Delicioso Gelato. Located in Vic Park, Delicioso Gelato is a gelateria that serves up a number of Asian gelato flavours (think sweet corn, taro, pandan, cendol, durian and more!). Our favourite flavours of the night were the kaya toast and milo as both flavours were extra creamy and decadent.
The store recently turned 1 and have expanded their footprint to include the store next door (yay, more seating) 🎉. You can also now find Delicioso Gelato as "Aunty Tiffs" (named aptly after Tiff, Delicioso's lovely owner) at Chicken Rice Corner, The Good Grocer and Tran's Emporium!
We'll be writing a post on Delicioso Gelato later this week. Be sure to tune in.
Cicerello's Fremantle
We were in Freo over the weekend and decided to stop by Cicerello's for fish and chips. A unique thing about Cicerello's are the number of aquariums they have throughout the restaurant.
We ordered a generous amount for four people. The seafood platter had a great spread of food. The favourite was the deluxe seafood chowder which was perfect to warm us up on the cool weekend.
Bark Subiaco
We were invited by Studio Appetite to check out Bark Subiaco's new bottomless cocktails event, which runs on Saturdays from 4 - 6 pm for April 2022. Be sure to check out our post later this week!
People's Inn Dumpling House
To wrap up our day of eating on Saturday, we popped into a favourite - Peoples Inn Dumpling House for takeaway.
Our favourite here are the pork and mushroom noodles. The juicy pork fat pairs so, so well with the thick noodles and the mushroom.
We enjoyed the boiled dumplings more - maybe because they travelled better than the pan fried dumplings, which got a little soggy.
Belmont Oriental Supermarket
Sunday's lunch was courtesy of Belmont Oriental Supermarket, who serve up a range of banh mi, Vietnamese dishes, bao and Vietnamese drinks. You order your banh mi at the check-out. There's also a couple of tables allowing guests to enjoy their banh mi dine in.
