βThe Best Thing We Ate βοΈ
Kou Sushi
We visited Kou Sushi for a dinner with some friends. It was our third visit to Kou Sushi and this time we enjoyed an array of beautifully fresh sashimi and some coveted otoro (fatty tuna belly) nigiri.
Check out the article to learn more about Kou Sushi.
What We Ate π΄
Peoples Inn Dumpling House
Friday dinner was afforded by Peoples Inn Dumpling House, in East-ish Perth. Peoples Inn serves up predominantly Northern Chinese dishes, including a range of noodles and dumplings.
We've been coming here for a couple of years. We weren't particularly big fans of the prawn, chives & eggs dumplings as it ran a bit too fragrant for us (a little heavier handed with the chives), but we always enjoy their beef & celery dumplings as it's always juicy and flavourful.
We also always make sure to order a serve of their pork & mushroom mixed noodle here π.
For more info on Peoples Inn Dumpling House, check out our post.
Presotea
We tried Presotea's latest drink, their hazelnut cocoa, courtesy of The Wonder Co.
Check out our post on IG for more info.
Jaws Sushi Town Hall - All you can eat
On Saturday evenings, Jaws Sushi Town Hall offers all you can eat for $37.5.
At the low price-point, you won't find a large range of fish or too much variety in terms of dishes (you'll mostly find salmon nigiri / sushi, prawn, gyoza, karaage, etc.).
Having said that, all the food and fish was fresh, given the high turnover of food. If you want to completely stuff yourself with Japanese food, this is a great place to do so for not too much $$$.
Samurai Ramen
Winter makes for perfect ramen weather. Soy ramen cravings were met by Samurai Ramen in Vic Park
For more info on Samurai Ramen, check out our post.
